Job Discription:

1) This position is responsible for deploying and supporting enterprise-level software systems developed by TPS for R&D.
2) Responsibilities include leading teams to achieve software deployment, training, user adoption, user support, troubleshooting, issue tracking and software documentation and data duration.
3) The Support Specialist has liaison responsibilities with each application’s software project team.
4) Lead an IT support function, which closely works with Monsanto business users.

Candidate Profile:

1) Masters or Doctoral degree in Agriculture, biotechnology or bio engineering.
2) Must have a minimum of 6 to 8 years experience in a science or support organizations directly responsible for the results of the group.
3) Should be result oriented, innovative, and have proven leadership and organizational ability.
4) Drive team towards achieving common goals
5) Particular interest in the areas of Agronomy, Plant Genetics and Plant Breeding.
6) Working knowledge of computers and databases.
