Job Description:

1) A highly motivated individual to serve as the leader for all R&D activities.

2) This position is highly matrixed with business and operational activities to aggressively implement expansion of existing product lines and to seek opportunities for novel product development with emphasis on the Indian bioscience markets as well as the global markets.

3) Play a key role in developing and providing services to clients as part of the growing business in the Indian market as well as Asia Pacific.

4) Based on sound scientific foundation in cellular and molecular biology, identifying new technology opportunities, motivation and positioning of teams to meet company goals and seeking and developing relationships with customers and external partners are all necessary attributes of this position.

5) Active participation in corporate strategic decisions.

6) Exp. in an industrial setting preferably in a life science company, management of an R&D team, and taking a project from ideation to commercial product introduction.

7) A thorough understanding of Systems Biology and how new kits, assays and reagents will complement the product portfolio.

8) An awareness of molecular and cellular assays used on existing and emerging platform technologies and the attributes of competitive products in these areas.

Candidate Profile:

1) Ph.D.with minimum 6-10 years of industrial experience.

2) Strong leadership skills with a desire to grow a strong technical team engaged in cutting edge science with emphasis on transparent accountability for team activities.

3) Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi and/or Kannada will be an added advantage
