Job Description:

Responsibility:

1) To independently lead a program in development and evaluation of heterogeneous catalysts for application in various organic synthesis reactions such as esterification, transesterification, etherification, Pyrolysis, Hydrotreatment, reduction, oxidation and isomerization.

Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated:

1) Should be well acquainted with the concept of catalysis and its synthetic applications.
2) Should have knowledge in the field of catalyst preparation and its characterization using various techniques.
3) Should have project management skills.

Candidate Profile:

1) M. Sc. (Inorganic/Organic chemistry) , Post Graduate with minimum 10 to 12 years or PhD with minimum 6 to 8 years of industrial research experience..
2) Hands on experience in preparation and characterization of catalysts.
3) Should work in a multi-disciplinary environment across various technology domains, work efficiently & effectively and possess the ability to deliver on commitments on time & within the budget.
4) Should demonstrate openness to new ideas and is expected to generate commercializable ideas for new products & processes.
5) Should possess the ability to coordinate & lead projects & programs through a structured stage-gate process.
6) Should possess the personal attributes of integrity & scientific creativity.
