Job Description:

Responsibility:

1) To perform various research related activities such as literature survey, planning and carrying out reactions, reporting and maintaining laboratory work specific data.
2) Should be able to work in a systematic time bound manner to generate timely data.

Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated:

1) Should have good knowledge in the field of oleo chemistry especially in carrying out chemical conversions such as esterification, transesterification and hydrogenation.
2) Should have project management skills.

Candidate Profile:

1) M.Sc /M. Tech (Oleo chemistry) , Post Graduate with minimum 6 to 8 years or PhD with minimum 2 to 3 years of industrial research experience.
2) Should have experience specific to vegetable oil pretreatment and transesterification reactions.
3) Should work in a multi-disciplinary environment across various technology domains, work efficiently & effectively and possess the ability to deliver on commitments on time & within the budget.
4) Should demonstrate openness to new ideas and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
5) Should possess the personal attributes of integrity & scientific creativity.
