Job Description:

Responsibility:

1) To independently lead, develop programs & execute them to the logical conclusion.
2) Should lead 3 to 4 technologists in the area of biomass gasifiers & related technologies.
3) Should be responsible to develop a team of engineers/ technologists in the design & development of gasifiers.

Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated:

1) Should have excellent skill sets in the design of the process equipments pertaining to gasifiers & ability in the erection & commissioning of the units.
2) Should have project management skills.

Candidate Profile:

1) Post Graduate with minimum 10 to 12 years or PhD in Chemical Engineering with minimum 6 to 8 years of industrial research experience.
2) Should have hands on experience in leading a large project on biomass gasifiers & related technology.
3) Should work in a multi-disciplinary environment across various technology domains, work efficiently & effectively and possess the ability to deliver on commitments on time & within the budget.
4) Should demonstrate openness to new ideas and is expected to generate commercializable ideas for new products & processes.
5) Should possess the ability to coordinate & lead projects & programs through a structured stage-gate process.
6) Should possess the personal attributes of integrity & scientific creativity.
